Terri Chaston - Administration
Although new to the sport, Terri, John and Zoe found themselves quickly addicted. With Zoe's first competition at Carrotfest in August of 2008, she amazed them with her natural abilities and earned her Jr. Jumper title in her first competition with her best jump being 14'5". With Zoe's high energy they felt that it was best to get her involved in a sport that she loved as well as something they could both get involved in. Dock Dogs fit the bill perfectly.
Terri works in Oakville for a Home Textile company, she designs bedding for many of the Canadian retailers. Her work ethics have brought her to a place in her career that without a formal education most would have not achieved. These work ethics are carried over into her extra curricular activities as she Chairs her Industry's annual Charity golf tournament and has been for more than 5yrs. Although busy she will always find time to give back to something that she loves. DockDogs is Terri's next challenge, she hopes that others will take her lead and also give back.
Since their first competition with Zoe they have been training hard with her on some of the DockDogs techniques and hope that in the new season Zoe will be jumping with the big guns. They plan to work with Zoe to get her involved in EV along with speed retreive. Watch out boys there's a new girl in town!!!
Terri and John live in Hamilton and share their home with Zoe and a cat named Quincey.
