Ontario's Fastest Growing Dog Sport - DockDogs!

Sheena Stark - Vice President Sheena's first Dockdogs experience was in 2006 with her rescued German Shepherd, Kona. Stepping into the DockDogs spotlight is Sheena's newest rescue Bosco! Who would have thought that this wild and gangly young German Shepherd would be surpassing Kona the Diva in dock diving drive? Sheena is also a DockDogs Affiliate Judge. Kona and Bosco have been featured in Dogs In Canada as well as other publications showing off their athleticism. 2008 was a great year for Bosco. After a slow start, he really pulled himself together and blasted off his first Masters Jump at Carrotfest in August. He came fifth at the DockDogs National Championships in Richfield Wisconsin, in the Junior Division. What a fantastic way to finish the season! Not bad for a dog that at one time, had an uncertain future. 2009 has been another very successful year for this German Shepherd duo!! Bosco not only learned Extreme Vertical, but he excelled at it! He holds the Canadian Record of 6'10, and is the top ranked Extreme Vertical dog in Canada. At this years National Championships in Mason, Ohio, Bosco came in sixth place against the 'big boys' of EV. What another great year!! We can't wait for 2010 to get back on the dock!!
